ChargeZone supercharging station at Café Coffee Day is located on Bangalore-Chennai side
where as the Aaryas, Zeon charging station is located at Chennai-Bangalore side

There are 3 machines, each capable of 360 kW peak, presently only one machine with single gun is fully unlocked to 360 kW peak for charging trucks and 800V architecture EVs.

Initially Machine 1 & 3 are also fully unlocked to 360 kW to share load between two CCS guns but later they are locked out at 300 kW, probably to save thousands of ₹ on Fixed cost.

For example:
₹138/kW is charged as fixed cost for HT Load >112kW by TNEB

Earlier:
360 kW x 3 = 1080 kW * ₹138 = ₹1,49,040

Now:
360 kW + 300 kW + 300 kW = 960 kW * ₹138 = ₹1,32,480

Meaning even if 1 kWh is not consumed by this charging station for a month, it still need to pay ₹1,32,480 every month to TNEB as fixed cost.

So by locking out the two machines at 300 kW, 120 kW of load can be reduced taking from TNEB, thus Chargezone could save ₹16,560 every month.

It makes sense as EVs with 800V architecture are quite less compared to mass produced 400V ones, additionally even if the truck is being charged at the 360 kW station, other 800V EV could still tap 150 kW from single gun in other machines.

May be in future if there is enough need, then remaining two stations can also be unlocked to it’s fullest 360 kW.
