JioBP Pulse charging stations in TN
Pros
1. All their stations have Dual CC2 with load shared machines (2 x 60 kW), which is mandatory to avoid significant waiting time for EVs arriving to charge
JioBP Pulse stations are spread across in Tamilnadu unlike the Shell Recharge stations which are all located in Chennai alone.
As JioBP Pulse uses 2 x 60 kW as standard template for all their stations, which is kind of in a sweet spot, as these dual guns would save a lot of waiting time as well as to provide enough power (30 kW +30 kW) while both the guns are engaged, which is a decent amount of power
2. JioBP Pulse has the lowest cost for energy in Tamilnadu which provides ₹15.99 + 18% GST = ₹18.87 / kWh
For comparison Zeon charging has an average cost of ₹24.9 + 18% GST = ₹29.38 / kWh (close to double the cost)
3. Neatly maintained charging bays which are protected while not in use to avoid other vehicles blocking the charging bays
Cons
No restaurant in majority of the JioBP Pulse stations, which is the primary reason why people with family avoids Jio stations for charging stop
1. At this point there is no RFID card/tag been provided by JioBP Pulse, probably due to less stations, but I hope they are going to provide soon
2. Though JioBP Pulse stations are spread across in Tamilnadu unlike the Shell Recharge stations, but still by volume it's extremely low, as we could see only 10 stations in entire state, while major players like Zeon charging has over 25 stations
3. Apart from JioBP Pulse stations available only on Chennai and Hosur, only during recent times they started slowly expanding to Coimbatore, Dindigul & Namakkal.
So until they start expanding rapidly JioBP Pulse charging stations in TN are very scarcely used
